General Requirements to Work in South Korea
To be eligible for any legal employment program in South Korea through PT Galuh Maritim Indonesia, applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • Indonesian citizen, minimum age 18 (varies by visa type)
  • Good physical and mental health (medical test required)
  • Clean criminal record (SKCK from police department)
  • Valid identity documents (KTP, Family Card, Passport)
  • Pass Korean language test (EPS-TOPIK) – required for E-9 & most other programs
  • Relevant skills, training, or certifications depending on job sector
  • Willingness to follow training and briefing programs before departure
  • No history of deportation or immigration violations in South Korea
  • Additional documents may be required depending on the specific visa type (E-7, E-8, E-10, etc.).
